I’m Joanne, a product designer currently based in the big state of Texas. I discovered the field of UX while pursuing a path in dietetics in undergrad and never looked back! As a designer, I aim to create thoughtful solutions that help people with their everyday tasks.
Outside of work, my 5-9 consists of reading, trying new recipes (and usually failing), and making little graphics.

Designing for others requires us to deeply empathize. We must be able to look through the lens of a different life to understand how to fulfill certain needs.
Our ability to create something new out of existing items enables us to play around and bring something new to the table for everyone to enjoy.
Design is all about falling in love with the process, discovering new insights and ideas along the way to guide the journey to a better product for users.
